About

The historic Coloma Lotus Ditch Users Association (CLDUA), in partnership with the South Fork Arts and Recreation (SoFAR) is a 501c3 non-profit.

The Coloma / Lotus ditch, located in Eldorado County, California was established in 1852 to supply water to ranches and farms in the valley. The Coloma / Lotus Ditch Users Association, a non-profit, was formed in 1987 to take over management of the water rights and operation of the ditch from EID. This unique community resource supplies agricultural and fire suppression water to residents and businesses throughout the valley. The ditch has been operated continuously since 1852.
